I first became intrigued by these wonderful cats 13 years ago, but didn't take the plunge to buy one until I had researched them for 8 years!! After a lot of reading I finally purchased my first girl and brought her home as my show/neuter.
Then 2 years later (as you will soon learn they become VERY addictive) I went back to the same breeder ( Zawadi) & purchased my first breeding girl as I realised I wanted to become much more involved with these beautiful cats. I have always had a fascination & respect for BIG cats, Lions, Tigers, Leopards & Cheetahs, so to be involved with domestic cats with a wild heritage is an absolute honour. I am based in Hampshire UK & I have been breeding beautiful TICA/GCCF  registered pedigree Bengal kittens for almost 2 years now. I show regularly with TICA as I passionately want to be part of helping the breed progress, not only in looks but health & temperament too! Kittens are raised in my home along with my children, other cats & my dog. I would like to thank you for browsing my site & hope you enjoy looking & find it informative, any feedback is very much appreciated! Visitors are always welcome so you can see just how amazing these felines are & of course have lots of free kitten cuddles!

A brief description about the Bengal Cat. The Bengal Cat is a combination of the Asian Leopard Cat with a domestic cat which has led to a confident, fearless beautiful looking cat with a fascination for water & some even playing fetch like a dog!! For a more in depth look about how this beautiful cat came about please look here Guide to a Bengal Cat
HCM
HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyothopy) is found in all breeds of cat, including non pedigree.  I feel as a responsible & ethical breeder that the only way forward is to have my breeding cats screened & all results will be posted on FAB (Unless screened in another country or screened by a cardiologist not on the FAB site). For anyone wanting to gain some knowledge on HCM  please read here Feline Advisory Bureau & use the navigation bar on the right hand side under hypertrophic  cardiomyothopy. Our current breeding cats will be screened every 12-18 months.

You can find a fantastic new site here SVCC which has some great information regarding cardiology. It is run by Dr Luca Ferasin who is a European & recognised specialist in veterinary cardiology.

This is Gogees Wild Daze at 4 weeks whilst still with Gene.  He has matured into an amazing looking boy with great head type, small ears & a strong chin.

He has a lovely friendly nature which we feel is an important part of our breeding programme & know that he will pass this onto his kittens, who will then go on & fulfill the life of any new loving family!
This is Moto (Gogees Wild Daze) at 4 weeks showing his wonderful rosetted coat. Not quite into the fuzzies as yet but gives you an idea of his pattern flow & colouring.

The fuzzies can be very misleading & sometimes hard to explain to outsiders. They are guard hairs, a bit like cubs get in the wild to help camouflage them from predators. Once the fuzzies clear the coat pattern becomes much more prominent & you can see how wonderful they will look once they have matured.
This is Rudy as a kitten whilst still with Madeline & Virginie of Jesmewlan. As you can see he has a completely different look & colouring to Moto. Rudy is still known as a brown spotted but is a cooler brown & has a more wild look. His coat is totally pelted, feeling very tight to the skin!

His markings look like they have been painted on & he has more length to his face, which I think adds to his wild look. His first litter seem to have taken after him in his cooler colouring & coat texture, except for a little boy who has his grandfather 'Colour's' colouring
This is Rudy as a kitten showing how his colour developed. As Rudy is a cooler brown  it took a while for his true colouring to come in. This colouring I feel doesn't look as dramatic as some of the more rufus bengals, but I think bengals like this will not fade &  do end up looking just as or even more dramatic in my opinion.

Rudy is a very confident loving cat, having the most wonderful purrsonality! He took to the show scene really well, & have to say he is a complete show off!!
Home of Regional Winner Supreme Grand Champion Jesmewlan Indian Ink
This picture was taken at the Naturally TICA Return to Paradise Show on 15th November 2009 just after Rudy gained his Supreme Title!  It's still hard to believe he actually did it as there is some stiff competition out there but he did & we couldn't be prouder of him! Way to go Roodles what an achievement!!
Huge Congratulations to our Rudy who has ended the TICA show year 2010 as 2nd Bengal cat in the UK, 2nd Bengal in W. Europe & 22nd Bengal Worldwide & he has gained a Regional win too!! (TBC) As we have only been breeding for almost 2 years we feel very honored & privileged, firstly for being given the opportunity to add Rudy to our breeding programme as one of our first stud cats & secondly only joining the TICA show circuit in February 2009. We are absolutely astounded & very, very proud!!
